Each part-time employee will work three days each, some weekends are required.
Job Title:
Medical Receptionist Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the front desk phone system - Verify patient information and collect necessary co-pays or fees - Maintain and update patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations - Provide administrative support to medical staff, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Ensure the waiting area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies Skills:
- Proficiency in Jane app or similar medial practice management software - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Experience working at the front desk of a medical office - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple incoming calls - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Previous experience providing administrative support in a medical setting We offer competitive pay based on experience.
